DAY 1: CASABLANCA ARRIVAL:

Merzouga Sahara Tours arranges exclusive 14-day tours departing from Casablanca. When you arrive, we will pick you up from the airport and you will spend the night at a nearby hotel.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA EXCURSION – RABAT:

Our native driver will greet you at your Casablanca hotel. We will see the Cornish and Hassan II Mosque, which is the world's third biggest mosque. We will proceed to Rabat, Morocco's capital city, where you will have the opportunity to view the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of Oudaya before heading to your hotel in the center of the medina.

DAY 3: RABAT - CHEFCAHOUEN:

After breakfast, we travel to Chefchaouen, passing through the Rif Mountains and the city of Ouazzane. We will explore the medina in Chefchaouen and provide you with a free program in the city. We spend the night in a local hotel and have supper there.

DAY 4: FREE DAY IN CHEFCAHOUEN:

After breakfast, you will go on a medina tour in the Rif highlands. You will experience the tranquility of Chefcahouen with the assistance of a local guide. Spend the night at a city hotel.

DAY 5: CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - FES:

Today, after breakfast in our hotel, we head to Volubilis, passing via a few Rif mountain villages on the way. We will have a guided tour of Volubilis, a well-known archeological site in Moroccan history, to explore the Roman remnants. We continue on to Meknes, a culturally prominent city in Morocco. The huge walls of the medina, Bab El Mansour, are investigated. We immediately depart for Fes, where we will spend the night in a tiny riad.

DAY 6: FES: GUIDED MEDINA EXCURSION:

After breakfast, we'll go on a full-day guided tour of Fes, Morocco's oldest city. We will drive via narrow alleys and alleyways, and our Fes guided tour will include stops at the Royal Palace entrance, the Jewish headquarters, and the world's oldest university, Al Qaraouine. We go to the Mulay Idriss mausoleum and local tanneries in the medina. Spend the night at a modest riad in Fes.

DAY 7: FES - IFRANE - MIDELT - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA

Today we begin our 14-day Morocco tour from Casablanca by driving to Ifrane and Azrou, traveling over the Middle Atlas highlands. We'll stop in a cedar grove to see the local Barbarian Apes. Then you go to Midelt, which is famed for its mineral goods, and then we travel through the Ziz valley to Erfoud, which is famous for its fossils. We carry on to Rissani and the desert of Merzouga. We spent the night at a desert hotel in Merzouga, which included dinner.

DAY 8: MERZOUGA CAMEL TREK AND DESERT EXCURSION:

Today you will tour the wonders of the Merzouga desert in a 44-passenger truck. We also visit Khamlia hamlet, Hassilabiad, and the desert dunes. Local Gnawa music is popular in Khamlia. In the afternoon, we ride camels to Merzouga desert camp, which is deep in the sand dunes. This night, we slept in a Merzouga-equipped Sahara camp. We'll eat traditional Berber food and listen to local drum music. We spent the night in desert tents after viewing the sunset in the desert.

DAY 9: MERZOUGA - TODRA VALLEY - DADES VALLEY:

Today you will ride camels back to Merzouga hamlet from the desert camp. You will be guided by local desert guides and will be able to enjoy the desert dawn. After breakfast at a Merzouga hotel or riad, we travel through Rissani and Erfoud before arriving at Todra Gorges for lunch. We visit a spectacular rock canyon before driving to Dades Valley, where you will spend overnight in a traditional riad for supper.

DAY 10: DADES - SKOURA - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH:

After breakfast, we travel through the Valley of Roses, seeing a kasbah in Skoura and the city of Ouarzazate, where we visit a movie studio and a kasbah. Then we go to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the most spectacular Kasbah in Morocco, where some Hollywood films, like Mummy and Gladiator, were filmed. We cross the High Atlas Mountains at Tizi n Tichka, Morocco's highest road crossing at 2260 meters. We arrived in Marrakech in the afternoon and slept at a modest hotel/riad.

DAY 11: MARRAKECH GUIDED MEDINA EXCURSION:

Today you will have a guided city tour of Marrakech, a former imperial city. We see the greatest of the medina, a walled ancient city dating back to the Berber Empire with mazelike streets and lively souks selling traditional ceramics and jewelry. Djemaa el-Fna, a large square where storytellers and musicians perform, is lined with food stalls. Stay the night in a nearby hotel/riad.

DAY 12: MARRAKECH TO OUZOUD WATERFALLS DAY TRIP:

Today, after breakfast, we will continue our Morocco tour with a private and guided day excursion to the Ouzoud waterfalls. Enjoy a relaxing day in Ouzoud before returning to Marrakech by guided trip.

DAY 13: MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUIRA DAY TRIP:

Today, after breakfast, we will continue our Casablanca tour with a private and guided day excursion to Essaouira. Enjoy a relaxing day on the Atlantic coast before returning to Marrakech by guided trip.

DAY 14: AIRPORT TRANSFER TO CASABLANCA:
