DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - OUARZAZATE - SKOURA - DADES GORGES

Merzouga Sahara Tours organizes customized 5 day tours from Marrakech. Today, we begin our Morocco tour by driving to Ouarzazate, crossing the Tizi nTichka mountain pass at 2260 meters. In Ourzazate, we'll see the exquisite historical monument of Taourirt Kasbah. We have views of the Skoura and the Valley of the Roses, which is famous for its yearly "Rose Festival." Then we'll go through Berber communities until we arrive in Boumalene Dades, where we'll spend the night.

DAY 2 : DADES GORGES - TODRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT

We continue our Private 5 day Tour Marrakech to Merzouga Desert tour exploring Dadès Gorges and its valley. Then we go to Todra Gorges to explore the Kanyon. We drive to Erfoud, which is well-known for its fossil goods and dates. Then we take the road to Merzouga. We're getting ready for a camel ride through the desert. We'll spend the night at a Berber desert camp, listening to drum music. When we arrive at the Merzouga camp, we climb the high desert dunes to witness the spectacular Merzouga sunset. We spend the night in a nomad tent near Merzouga.

DAY 3 : MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION

Today, we begin our tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes in the morning. We'll go to a Berber house and listen to some Gnawa music, which originated in Ghana and Sudan. We'll see disused mines, Berber nomads, and a palm-tree oasis. We'll return to Merzouga for lunch. After some rest, we'll head for the camels, who are eager to take us on an excursion in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in a well-equipped camp with drum music in the heart of the Sahara, which will provide us with an excellent opportunity to photograph the sunset and sunrise. We ascend the high dunes to watch the sunset and sleep in nomad tents. After breakfast, the exclusive 5-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert will resume the following day.

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA DESERT - AGDZ - DRAA VALLEY - OUARZAZATE

We ride camels back to Merzouga after seeing the sunrise. We'll be able to take a shower and eat a delicious breakfast. Then we begin our return trek to Ouarzazate. On the journey, we stop at Berber stores where you may buy gifts such as fossils, carpets, lamps, and leather. We arrive at Ouarzazate in the afternoon and stay in a hotel for the night.

DAY 5 : OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - ATLAS - MARRAKECH

After breakfast, we will continue our Private 5 day Tour Marrakech to Merzouga Desert- you will explore Ait Benhaddou Kasbah in a guided excursion and then we will depart for Marrakech, travelling through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains.
